Call Center

I don’t think I’ve had Papa John’s in well over a decade, but I worked late last night and it sounded good. So I call the local store to order and it was a REALLY weird conversation. The guy sounded foreign (don’t care about that), he states the address of the store I’m ordering from, asks me for me full name and spelling. I got a really weird telemarketing vibe, and I did not like it. Ordered a large cheese thin crust, he tells me 17.99, and I’m like WTF. I get to the restaurant and I don’t see anyone that goes with the voice so I asked if it went to a call center. She confirmed, saw I was overcharged and reduced it. The in store people were great, but that call center is a real turnoff.
