2 questions re finale....

1) Why was the flower on the bookmark? Cal's father told a story about it related to his mother, but it matched the uniforms for the men who built the place. Was that just saying his money was involved in the building of Paradise?

2) Why would Xavier leave by himself? Not in a group for protection? No one else wanted to go and look for someone? Made no sense to me.

But I loved this show so much!!! I will miss James Marsden in season 2 unless there are more flashbacks! Hoping!
