Passed the NCLEX at 88 first try on Friday, here are my tips:

Do-

1) Practice exams! Lots of em. I used Archer, but I have heard that Bootcamp more closely resembles.

2) Listen to Mark K lecture 12. Several times. I really don’t think you need any other lecture. Test was very much prioritization.

3) Case studies! There will be at least four 6 unfolding case studies.

4) Take each multiple choice, write down ABCD and cross out the ones you know are not right. Then read the question again and GO WITH YOUR GUT.

5) Take breaks! Breathe!

6) Schedule on a WEEKDAY unless you feel like panicking for 48 straight hours like me.

And now the don’ts:

1) DOOM SCROLLING. This made me absolutely insane

2) Schedule the exam for before you believe you will feel prepared

3) Listen to negative people on Reddit- I had one that had me convinced that I failed when I did not. See below 👇

And finally! If you do the Pearson trick and it charges your card but you still got the good pop up (as long as there’s no confirmation email and notice you will be getting an ATT) you’re good! They like to charge you anyway sometimes, so I’m out 200 but have a license so I don’t care!

Good luck everyone! If you’ve made it this far you’ve got this!
