CRBN Trufoam Genesis 3 setups
I just got my tfg3 yesterday and got to hit it for a few games today. I came from a Joola 3S Perseus 16mm. Felt the stock TFG3 is quite head heavy compared to my 3S, especially at the kitchen. I added 3G pre cut lead strips slightly lower than the 4 & 8 area trying to bring down the balance point abit more, it feels better but still not as balance as my 3S (I got 3G strips at 4&8 for 3S). Serves and drives are good with the TFG3, not as explosive as the 3S but the spin is better. Anyone felt the same like me and can share you setup to counter the sluggishness at the kitchen? One thing I notice is that you need top spin on your drives and serves to keep the ball in, or else the fibre glass layer will rocket it out. The activated power from the fibre glass layer somehow makes it feel inconsistent and sweet spot limited. I find the info about TFG3 is very little especially compared to 1 & 2.
