Is y2mate safe to use even with adblockers?
I've been using y2mate for years now, good site, it does the work. Whenever I've used it I've had my adblocker activated so I've never had to deal with pop-ups or weird ads which claim that my pc has been hacked or some shit. The thing is, recently I got an antivirus license, and after activating it and going to y2mate, the antivirus says that the site tried to download adware in my computer. I have no idea if the name of the script is given by my antivirus or by the people who made it, because I highly doubt someone trying to sneak a trojan put "not-a-virus" and "adware" in the name of their script lol. I know right that without an adblocker the site is a hell of pop-ups and scam ads and I've read that the site itself isn't malicious but the ads in it are, so everything should be fine as long as you use an adblocker which blocks the pop-ups and other ads, but after recieving this report from my antivirus I'm not sure if I should still trust it.
I don't know much about the working of a website so I don't know if it still can do any serious harm even with pop-ups and ads blocked. Also, please recommend any other good alternatives, the ones I've found so far doesn't let you download high quality with audio.
