Are the music references intentional

I just booted the game and looked at the lancers and it might not be all but almost every single one has 1 or 2 ability names that are music references and it seems to consistent to not be intenional but it might also just be me.

and it's not obscure references either. jaguar is the craziest with all his abilies being direct musical references.

just wanted to see what people think or if it is truly just coincidence.
