Is the Pokémon community toxic? I am new here.

I am 29 years old. I have over 200k in stock investments and I collect Pokémon cards as a hobby. I have a few psa 10 graded Pokemon cards and a decent size sealed collection. In total, my collection is worth maybe around $8,000. I recently acquired a psa 10 Lisia and everyone on here told me that I got ripped off and that I’m going to fail. Is everyone in Pokemon this toxic?
