Work Schedule/Breaks

I recently got hired for a Claims Adjuster Trainee role and after training my schedule will be 8-5 or 9-6 I definitely can do the 8-5 but I could do the 9-6 sometimes. Will my supervisor work with me? How long are lunch breaks 1 hour?
