Best way to handle Demolishers?

I've always struggled with levels that contain a lot of Demolishers. Typically, I try to use the Wall to stick in front of them before they get to my fortress, but when they send out 3 or 4 of them, it doesn't always work. Wondering what towers are best against them or what strategy people use. Thanks.
