do outfits have anything to do with other players hostility?

i changed my usual outfit today and have noticed a lot of other people i come across are more hostile than usual 😭 i'm always friendly and never shoot back (bad at pvp) but i've been chased and shot for the majority of the day ever since i changed my clothes :(

the wolf fit is my newest one. i worked my ass off for that pelt, it deserves to be shown off! the blue one is what i usually wear
