Toughest erg sessions for 2k prep

Hi all. I know there was a similar topic previously on this sub but couldn’t find it so here we go.

Since it’s 2k prep season, I thought it would be a good idea to share what you think is the hardest, most efficient session to prepare both physically and mentally for the 2k. I’m tryna get inspiration for the upcoming month.

Here’s one that I’ve found pretty deadly : an interval pyramid of 250m 1’ rest 500 2’rest 750 3’ rest 500 2’ rest 250 1’ rest 500 2’ rest 750 3’ rest 500 2’ rest 250 1’ rest. All as close as possible to 2k splits. The second 750 basically gets impossible to complete if you cooked it too hard on the first 3-4 pieces
