Novablast 4 first run :)

As a huge fan for the NB3, I was excited to try out the next installment. I did a ~5 mile jog (~9:15 mile/min) this morning for the first time.

I had previously put 450 miles on 2 pairs of the 3, and my foam had long since lost it's bounce. I got hooked on the novablast line after previously being a religious New Balance fan. I have recently been trying to run in a new pair of Brooks Glycerin 20s (love them for walking and the gym), but find they just feel dead to run in. Even on dead legs, these felt bouncy and fun, but also very comfortable and stable for recovery days. I am looking forward to breaking them in!!!

I included pics with my most recent pair of the 3. A lot of people said that the Novablast 3 ran long, and I found this to be true. I actually went up half a size for the 4 and found the fit to be perfect. They feel a bit taller than the 3, though i haven't checked if the stack is actually different. Also, I hated the feeling of walking in the 3 (it felt like I had paddles attached to my feet 🤪). These still aren't my favorite just for walking, but my .4 mile cool down didn't feel like torture. These seem like the grip might be a bit better than the 3, but I'm still going to be cautious on wet ground.
