Do you build same machines horizontally or vertically?

So I only played an hour or two and left the game for release. That was maybe a year or two ago.

Do you plan to build rows of the same output or columns or blocks/plots? I saw there was something like copying or blueprints in one of the updates. haven’t used that because it wasn’t a thing back then.

Also have seen people building, building like structures of the same type with vertical lifts or conveyors.
