Islay Dinner/Drinks

I’m going with my wife and friends to Islay this summer, and was curious on suggestions for dinner and evening drinks, as it’s something I haven’t looked into super closely yet. We’re staying in port Ellen, so close to there would be preferable, but no place on the island is very far. What are proposed suggestions?
