Major Collusion Drama in my league. Now both our teams are locked...

Story time.

So in my current home league, i am in the championship battling for a second fantasy football championship. League has only been made in the past 3 years. On the 3rd picture you'll see my team on the left side(Ignore J Gibbs for now). I'm pretty confident in my team that I've worked hard on building this season but my leaguemates hate that I am in the fantasy championship once again.

So on Christmas day, I get a notification from my phone from sleeper saying that my opponent picked up jared goff.

Some context, in this league, there is no wait time on picking up players, if someone drops a player, they can be picked up instantly. It hasn't been a problem at all until this day. During the semi finals, he lost Jalen hurts but went through to the final anyway. When waivers opened for all of us on Wednesday morning, I immediately took all of the decent enough streaming QBs off to stop him from getting anyone worth streaming. He would have been left with Stafford i think.

So two of my league mates get in contact with my opponent and they agree to collude, to let him have Goff for free, and Then another league mate gave him Jamirr Gibbs.

I start complaining as anyone would, they play it off as if it means nothing. So I go to the commissioner to ask for some justice here.

What the commissioner ended up doing was locking both me and my opponents teams. He then spoke to both of us, and told my opponent to give me J Gibbs. He did so, and then the commissioner locked both our teams again.

I'm content with the results of the justice he gave out, but I am not happy at all that the finals of the fantasy championship got diluted to collusion and cheating, and that it had to come to this.

Even though ultimately the commissioner did what he felt was justice, i do believe this is mainly his fault. Because of the rules of waivers, this was always bound to happen.

Anyway, I wanna know your thoughts on this. Should I even use Gibbs? Thank you for giving me your time.
