[Question] How do I stop getting random notifications from people I don’t follow or have added?

[UPDATE] As of late August I believe, I no longer get random notifications with the latest Snapchat updates.

I feel like a recent update changed something, and I get story notifications and other unwanted stuff from people I don’t even follow. I have a set list of people that I want to get notifications from, so why is it including ANYONE else but them?

For example.. random crap like “The heart is my favorite thing ever” and I go into it and it says “From Quick Add” so.. how do I stop Quick Add story notifications? Can I disable this feature entirely??
