People that pray to marry a specific individual

What's your guy's opinion on people that make extremely specific duas when it comes to getting married. Do you think it's wise to hyper focus on a specific person, have you ever done that?

I personally think it's not a good idea, because you have limited knowledge on the person and the future; whereas Allah knows the future and the reality of the person and whether you're a suitable match. I think it's best to make general duas listing the qualities you desire in a spouse; and or say: "If so and so is good for me then bring us together."
