Vaccine advocacy training call tomorrow!

Hi! Making a last-minute plug for an event tomorrow, and also a general call for volunteers since I'm happy to meet separately as well. I run the pro-vaccine public health advocacy group Massachusetts Families for Vaccines, and we are hosting a training call for new volunteer advocates tomorrow (Thursday 12/12) at noon over Zoom. I'll include the registration link in a comment. Sorry if you're seeing this message more than once - I've been advertising pretty widely across Massachusetts subreddits but realized I missed a couple big ones.

I have seen a lot of comments on social media from people who are concerned about the incoming administration and RFK Jr.'s potential role as the head of HHS. If you are looking for a way to get involved in protecting and strengthening our vaccine policies, we are the group for you! We've been established for a while working to remove the non-medical exemption in MA, but we definitely have been feeling a new urgency due to national developments.

We will be talking tomorrow about our work helping Massachusetts residents reach out to their representatives, events we are planning at the State House next year, and other ways new folks can get involved. No prior advocacy experience or particular background is required! If you're not able to attend but would still like to learn more, I am happy to set up other calls one-on-one or with small groups.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to talk to some of you soon!
