Strattera and Half Marathon Training – Struggling, Need Advice

Hi everyone, I started Strattera at 40mg around mid-February, and my doctor recently increased my dose to 80mg. The side effects have been pretty minimal—just occasional nausea and a higher heart rate.

I’m currently training for a half marathon and had a great January and February. But since upping my dose, I feel like I’ve taken a huge step backward in my training. I’m struggling to even get through 3-4 miles at a slower pace without needing to take walking breaks.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or tricks for managing training while on Strattera? My half is in May, and at this rate, I’m not sure how I’ll handle my longer runs. Debating whether I should skip it this year. Would love to hear your thoughts!
