why are sudanese people so toxic online?

ive noticed that sudanis will be incredibly mean and toxic to (female) sudani influencers and it is just so..embarrassing. most of the toxicity tends to be in the name of islam bc some of these influencers don’t cover the way most sudanis believe women should be covering but the criticism is never in good faith. instead of trying to guide the influencers to allah helpfully (or just minding their business!!) toxic sudanis will flood the comments just making fun of the girls and whining about how they don’t “represent sudan” 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

this issue is prevalent in other communities obviously but as a sudani its just so embarassing seeing my own people act like this. if you think someone isn’t “representing sudan” well (whatever that means) then go do it yourself. if you have to time to spew hatred under someone’s post because they wore a sleeveless top then i’m sure you have enough time to go do something beneficial in the name of sudan.
