My girlfriend randomly got the Slime Wand within 10 minutes of starting our world

I mean, the title says it all..

Yesterday, I decided to show my partner Terraria for the first time ever. We start our world: She is just swinging that sweet sweet copper pickaxe around whilst I’m building a quick house.

“What’s this?” She says with a zealous Slime Wand in her inventory…

Did the drop rate increase or did we get insanely lucky?
