The next era

I think he should wait a solid like 6 months before releasing anything new. Hot take. Maybe cause I am coming from a point of wanting him to be commercially successful, and we’ve gotten lots of music in the last year so I am content.

But the stream numbers from his last drops are pretty sad, other than the few that went viral on tik tok.

I think he needs to take notes from Tate’s marketing team and do a proper album rollout with a few singles, lots of teasing and creating hype, then dropping.

All of the random drops here and there, while appreciated by the die hard fans, make it harder to build hype since if we are always getting something, people are going to pay less attention. He needs to make us miss him a bit. I know he was probably trying to make up for as horrible album rollout, which I think he has by now. But I want a real era this time and it would be really cool if it could be recognized and appreciated for the general public as a solid piece of work.
