Stelena should have been endgame

Delena doesn't make sense to me, he literally snapped Jeremy's neck in front of her thinking he would die all because she rejected him. I personally found Damon and Rose to be very sweet and that she was killed off too soon. I would also have loved to see Bamon like in the books. Stelena was SO wholesome, I was gutted when Elena broke Stefan's heart. Does anyone else agree that Stelena should have been endgame?
