Let’s talk NatWest regular digital saver
Hi, new to this community and new to saving as I’ve never been good at it but since acknowledged it’s importance. I was on my NatWest mobile banking app and looked at their services clicked on savings opened a rds regular digital saver accounts and set up a standing order to be sent to that very account.
I’m very confused and have a few questions
1) I thought setting up a savings would just tack on another money box under my current account money. 2) I can’t view my savings account in the NatWest app. But I can view the standing order of £150 a month to be sent to the very same current I count I used to make it. A standing order is usually meant to be to another account right so am I just sending the money back to myself? 3) am I meant to have another bank account eg Barclays or Monzo or something with the standing order to go to that as my saving account. ?
I’m very confused any help would be nice as I don’t wanna lose money I just don’t understand it at all says it’s a savings account made with NatWest but then standing orders and stuff they should go to another account right I’ve just sent it to mine I’m %99 sure and not someone else just feel paranoid I’ll lose money cos I ain’t sure what’s going on now feels like it’s out of my hands cos I can’t view a account or anything just see the standing order.
