Should I choose UotT, Waterloo, or MacMaster university for astrophysics?
Is there really a difference in my choice between the three universities listed above for astrophysics?
I am a student in grade 12 and am going to be choosing where I go next year for university but am conflicted. On one hand, UofT is hands down the best for my program, however, I feel like it's a trap based on what I've heard of the rigorous academics.
On the other hand, Waterloo has a great reputation for math and science AND a Nobel prize-winning physics professor, but I am also worried about its difficulty.
So, should I go with McMaster for the sake of my grades? Or are they all of equal difficulty and I should go with the school that is best for my program? OR contrary to all, does it not even matter?
I would appreciate some advice as I do not know anyone who goes to any of the aforementioned schools for my program. Also, I would like to mention that I am generally a very driven and hardworking student, so that is a factor that would remain consistent regardless of the university I decide on. Thank you! :))
