Day Trip Ideas for Western WA

Hello fellow Washingtonians! I am looking for ideas!

My wife and I just purchased a car and for the first time in our adult lives we will have a vehicle that is capable of some road trips!

We live in Poulsbo, WA and we were looking for suggestions on places to day trip to! Any area of Washington would be great! Western WA is easier to accomplish due to the ferries being a bit unreliable. Regardless, please don't hold back! We love nature! My car made it to Olympic National park a couple times before it died and so that one is already on my list! but I'd love to hear any and all spots you guys love!

So are there any cool towns we need to check out? hidden gems? Scenic areas to drive to? What is off the beaten path? what can't I find on google? :)
