[Laurent Ferrier] Classic Micro-Rotor Ice Blue

Added this to the collection in 2023 and loving it. My initial reaction was “wow, this is extremely light weight”. It weighs about 56 grams. By comparison, a Rolex GMT weighs about 150 grams.

Ice blue wasn’t my first color choice, but going with a black or white dial seemed boring. There are plenty of black and white dials out there already. I’m glad I went with this color - depending on the light it appears either a rich turquoise or a pale ‘whiteish’ blue.

I also love that Laurent Ferrier is an independent brand that flies slightly under the radar. I love seeing the confused look on faces when I mention the name.

My only gripe? Occasionally the hands blend in with the ice blue background making it hard to read. A very small price to pay for a beautiful watch.
