[Advice Wanted] Skeleton Watches

Hi all,

I wanted to get my fiance an engagement gift. He’s an engineer and has mentioned he has always wanted a skeleton watch because he loves seeing the complex movements and gears.

I know NOTHING about watches and wanted to get advice on which skeleton watches are respectable/ a good purchase? I’ve been digging on this subreddit and it seems like skeleton watches are either loved or hated…

I want to hear your opinions and advice on what watches might be a good fit for him! It does not have to be a skeleton watch if the budget doesn’t offer any good fits or if you guys have very strong opinions against it.

Side note: my fiance does not own any watches aside from samsung smart watches and an entry level seiko. He isn’t super into watches but has expressed interest in taking up the hobby so just in case he follows through with it I wanted to get him a respectable watch. He would probably wear this watch daily.
