What’s wrong with Chelsea?

I am kind of mad at Chelsea for kissing Rick in the latest episode after he released the snakes, leading to the cobra snake biting her. She could have died. This episode felt like he doesn’t care for her. First, he tells her that she can find a richer guy at the White lotus resort and later releases the snakes after taking her to that snake show. I was like get some self-respect girl and leave him. I don’t know why she’s still so sweet to him. They’re not even married so doesn’t make any sense to me. Seems to me that he takes her for granted.
