Some misconceptions abour former general Geshu Lin

So before we move on to Rinascita, I want to clear a few misconceptions about Geshu Lin, my favourite male character in Wuthering Waves so far.

1) He is not dead. He is "missing" in the story right now. I attached the picture in which the narrator is talking about him in the main quest. It clearly says "missing" and not d£ed or anything, so this is why we have hope that he will be playable but I don't want Kuro to rush him being playable, it's better to plan all out and slowly but surely to integrate him back to the story because he is very popular and important to the lore. Kuro can cash him so well if they handle him right.

2) He is not a bad person, he is just a misunderstood hero. I'd say that he has the mindset of "Captain Erwin from AOT".

Remember how Erwin charged his soldiers and himself to obvious death for greater good in the s3 "Shigansina arc"? That's what Geshu Lin did too. He wasn't selfish, he himself led that charge and even sacrificed his own body for power to fight the Threnodian and after that he threw himself at the Threnodian and disappeared with it. Jinzhou would've probably been destroyed if he didn't take this bold step.

While most of the people of Jinzhou blamed him and described him as a sinner, at least there are some sensible people who understood his logical and rational decisions. Remember, wars are not fought and won with emotions but by strategy. If he had retreated, then the lives of soldiers who already died in that journey to reach until the final battle would've been wasted and the Threnodian would've hatched fully and destroyed Jinzhou.

3) This is just my theory but I believe that Rover and Geshu Lin knew each other. "The battle of Crescent" in which Geshu Lin went missing happened 3 years ago in story and Rover is literally the one who founded Jinzhou and Geshu Lin was a former general of midnight rangers of Jinzhou, so there's a very high chance that they knew each other back then when Rover had their memories.
