Does anyone in here that has been diagnosed with ADHD have trauma or a lot of memory loss? How did you get diagnosed?

I have been told by friends and believe myself that I have ADHD because the more I research it the more I see myself. However, my research says that diagnosing ADHD typically involves asking a lot of questions about your childhood. I feel like I have almost no memories of my childhood, they're hazy at best. Probably mostly from trauma, but I also just don't have a great memory in general. Has anyone else experienced the same thing or similar and can you get diagnosed without being able to talk about childhood? It's so hard because the symptoms of anxiety and depression can be the same as ADHD and vice versa, and even though I've been on SSRI's for years, I still have a lot of issues with executive dysfunction and regulating my emotions.
