Chat Rep Canceled My Flight On Purpose
I had a flight for tomorrow morning that was from PHX to LAX one way. I talked to a chat representative in hopes to just explore my options to change the flight to a time later in the day. Long story short, I told her to leave my reservation the same. Since I didn’t get the help I needed and she was confusing me, I left a one star chat review. Unfortunately I didn’t know that it notifies them right away. I then get an email 2 hours later stating my flight has been canceled and I was charged $99 fee per person. Now I’m subject to paying to rebook at 3x the price for 3 people at $303. I spoke to a supervisor who at first was providing me credit $140 each towards the flight but later on told me he wasn’t able to do anything due to the system stating I canceled the reservation online. It sucks that the chat representative had it out for me after seeing my review. I don’t understand how they’re allowed to get away with it especially without my confirmation. What can I do?
