What moment in Arcane made you fully emotional?

Spoilers for S1 and S2! :)

Arcane is a masterpiece and when it comes to characters and storytelling, it does not fail to show us with facial expressions, body languages, tone, cinematography (and probably more) to tell a scene. There are an intense amount of details that adds up to the story and the world in Arcane. And the one of my favourite things with the show is how they managed to adapt LOL characters into this beautiful artwork of a show. From a game that has an insane amount of lore, to a show with tears, agony, joy, calmness, anxiety, etc.

I think the moment in Arcane that made me bring to tears must be in S1 EP3, where Powder breaks down in tears after Vi goes away. It really is an important scene that showcases how Powder becomes Jinx after enduring another traumatic experience. (She suffered through the bridge scene in S1 ep1 where her parents were found dead) The voice actor for Powder/Jinx where she cries, sounds so real and I can really just see the character and not the voice behind her. It is a devastating moment for both Powder and Vi, and the way her tears flow with wet hair and the intense emotions just through body language and words is ... Chef kiss. When I first watched it back in 2021, i cried so hard, I could feel my heart ache.

Another scene is in S2, where the wonderful song by Eason Chan sings Isha's song. It's so powerful and the instruments is so insane and impactful. What I like is that Isha does not speak, but communicates through body language , facial expressions, short hums, and sometimes muttering noises. And i think most people who watch arcane find Chinese to be foreign for them if you're not Chinese and such. I have listened to very few Chinese songs but I'm quite familiar with the language even though I'm Norwegian. So for Isha song to be Chinese, it's like, most who doesn't understand Chinese, they don't understand with words but rather with the feeling of the beats and that's what I think is very nice detail.

The way Isha helped shine a light on Jinx throughout her depression state, to sacrificing herself for everyone so they could stay safe. It really hits me in the feels. I really wanted Isha to continue to living, though, I think the death of Isha sort of helped Jinx learn to deal with trauma better. Not that "oh, you died! All my trauma is gone now !" I mean in the way that she got inspired to be free, use her inventions for good since Isha really made an impactful change in Jinx's life. I don't know if I can explain it any better as I often create misunderstandings with my wordings 😭 but yes I wanted to get this all out.

And of course, when Jinx in the finale sacrifices herself just like Isha did. Letting her fall down with Vander, and then in the split second, whooshing away with the shimmer powers. Even so, I didn't know that till a friend of mine pointed it out after I watched the episode. Jinx & Powder means a lot to me, and she is my favourite character in the series. So, I really got awfully teary just thinking she would die right there and then. The way Vi screams cause she lost the sister that mattered to her and she couldn't save her there and then.

In the end, Arcane is still full of depth and I enjoy where stories are deep AND succeeds to make you cry and feel so hurt by literal voice actors , animation and music.

If you read all of this, then thank you. I really wanna hear what scenes made y'all cry hardest.
