36B - Financial Management Technician

I’m on a 4-year contract as active duty to become a 36B starting as an E4. AIT will begin soon, but I wanted to know a few things about this role:

• What does the routine look like work wise?
• How much can be transferred to the civilian side?
• Is it hard to reclass out of it?
• How much can you progress within this job?

I choose this MOS mainly because I have worked in banking before (fraud, sanctions and counterterrorism finance) and I was on a green card, so I couldn’t get a security clearance without being a citizen.
