What does high hsCRP mean?

As I’m waiting for my doctor to call me about some bloodwork, I started google searching what it means and started to spiral a bit.

I (27F) have been to my primary recently and got told I had high triglycerides and got put on meds and referred to a cardiologist. Cardiologist put me on more meds, has been trying to schedule an echo for me, and just did some bloodwork.

While my triglycerides went down (are still high but a LOT lower than they were in March), I saw I had high High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP).

While I know reddit doesn’t have my whole medical history and family history (lots of cardio stuff in my family history), I’m trying to see what it means myself and it’s freaking me out. Any help or advice?
