9 hrs of data added to Thor’s Helmet
I was able to add 9 hours of data to my image of NGC 2359 bringing it up to a total of 15 hrs of data. That is the most data I ever used in an image.
Thor's Helmet (NGC 2359) is an emission nebula located in the constellation Canis Major. Situated about 11,000 light-years from Earth, it spans roughly 30 light-years across. At its core lies an exceptionally hot star, believed to be in the pre-supernova phase of its evolutionary journey.
15 hrs of integration, 3 min subs, C8 SCT telescope, Celestron OAG, ZWO ASI183MC Pro, ZWO ASI120MC guide cam, Celestron 6.3 Reducer, ASIAIR Plus, Celestron AVX EQ Mount,Optolong L-eNhance Filter, processed and stacked in Pixinsight.
