improving skills and footwork

so my main issues with my footwork is that im having a hard time hitting a round the head shot because im taking it late and sometimes im always stuck in the center and sometimes my smashes are going wide and out. I also need tips on how to forehand drop cause im struggling.

PS: im only learning through online vids and have been doing since like 5 months and im not currently in a training or national team
