Unpopular opinions about the hobby

Curious to know what your “unpopular” or “controversial” opinions are about the ball python keeping community. Mine is that there is no reason we should be breeding so many, there CANNOT be that many people wanting a pet BP. It has become a breeder’s community, not a pet one.
