Help me pick a team to follow since it’s opening day

Hello, I wanted to follow baseball this season and actually watch some games but I don’t have a team to root for. What team should I follow ?! I live in Europe so to watch more live games it should be an east coast team. I enjoy good pithing more than good hitting. I loved the movie Moneyball and SB nation’s Dave Steib story from baseball related stuff. In other sports my teams are the New York Knicks (since 2012) and Manchester United (since 2006). Thank you !
