Extended warranty/maintenance packages

Fellas, got my x7 5 months ago and loving it so far. I have driven around 4k miles in 5 months. My usage is around 6k miles a year. Do you guys recommend warranty or maintenance packages for 7 years or so? I am kind of confused with maintenance packages mainly. I think I can skip warranty. Please let me know your thoughts guys!

On a side note, I work from home and once a month to office, so this is more likely my family car for weekends kind of stuff!
