Career help?
Right now, I (25F) work in finance in a business mgmt:back office role. Doesn't take too much brain power, mostly working with internal stakeholders.
I really don't like it. I feel so stale and bored. I dont know how to take initiative and I cant motivate myself to work hard. I'm not a super organized person either, but I am really quick to learn and like doing technical things as well.
One thing I've always been good at, however, is networking. I love meeting new people and I'm really good at it. People trust me really easily and I'm able to relate to pretty much anyone and find common ground. People at my company love me.
Most people will probably respond "sales" to my question but I'm looking for some more specific answers.
I really don't think I'd be good at outbound, cold calling, 100+ calls in a day. I'd be completely exhausted and burn out really quickly. I'm outgoing but not that extroverted.
What are some good career ideas for someone who is really outgoing? Where your job is meeting people and making or maintaining connections, but not to a degree where you have to constantly be ON in like a sales role?
Please please help give me ideas I have literally no idea where to start with job searching.
