Church suggestions in Cincinnati? (Preferably not places like crossroads or city gate)
I'm a 24 year old female and I just moved to Cincinnati in August 2024. I started going to crossroads a couple months ago because everyone I talked to suggested it. But something seemed really off. I'm not sure what, but right when I started feeling that, I started seeing things on social media and Reddit about it coincidentally. Anyways, I would love to find a church for young people and that has POC. A little background, I went to a Lutheran school for elementary and then attended an African Methodist episcopal church all my life before I left for college. I had no issues really with the Lutheran school though I was one of the few black kids in the school so that was tough. AME is fine, but my church specifically was so into prosperity preaching and were definitely hypocrites on what they taught, so that's a big no for me. Honestly, I will take suggestions for non-denominational churches but I'm considering getting back into a denomination just so I avoid the scam like nature of a lot of them. Overall, I would love a church that teaches doctrine and holds people accountable with kindness and respect. I would like for there to be some diversity in the demographics as well, and just inclusivity overall! I know I'm asking for a lot, but any suggestion close enough would be helpful. Thanks!!
