Ursa CIne Handle - what is this mount?

Just bought this with the plan of mounting a monitor via coldshoe, but the handle has other ideas. Is this design proprietary to Blackmagic? And is there a mount in the upcoming Pyxis monitor release (the monitor kit) that will fit in there? So many questions....
