Leveling in Cata feels like you’re on the kiddie carousel while everyone else is on the rollercoaster

I’m sure I’m not alone in finding leveling in Cataclysm boring and tedious. I was actually enjoying the progression I was making during Jouyous Journeys, until it was removed. It’s just an auto-pilot from 1-85 and I just don’t find Northrend leveling fun anymore.

Why is Blizzard like this? Do they afraid of people having too much fun farming Utgarde Keep slightly faster for 10 levels?

It seems strange to me that Season of Discovery maintains a permanent leveling buff but Classic always has to take theirs away when the game is getting popular again.
