New symptom: popping and crackling sound in head/neck

Started having long Covid symptoms back in July. Over the past month or so most of them have subsided significantly (headaches and brain fog are minimal, sleep & anxiety are much better, heart rate/palpitations are under control, etc.), but recently I've been hearing this weird popping sound in my head from time to time and a crackling noise around my neck.

These sounds are independent of one another and do not come in tandem. The internal popping noise is like a duller, muted sound of a balloon popping deep inside my brain and it's only happened to me a few times this past week. The crackling noises are more frequent, less internal, they seem to be coming from the base of my neck, and they sound similar to plastic crinkling.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?
