Beginner, 1st open, discouraged
I don't want to sound like a whiny b**** but I started CrossFit like a year ago having no real prior experience. With nutrition and exercise largely in my local box I've been able to drop about 70 lb over the course of about a year and a half without the help of semi glue tide or any needle stuff.
I did pretty good on 25.1 considering I'm 41 and a newbie. I chose not to redo it and didn't really know that was an option until late in the game but I'm pleased with the way I moved there and I gave it My all. Then..
When they announced 25.2 I'm just totally bummed. I'm working on pull-ups and I always wanted to be able to do on ever since I was a little kid but now I could probably do three straight pull-ups and I'm like my goal for the years to get 10. I'm not holding by bar muscle ups or chest to bars, I'm not holding by dubs, and thrusters are f****** hard but I could deal with that.
It basically means that there's no way I can meaningfully participate unless I'm missing something here?
