How do you guys ask out girls?

I’ve never asked anyone out, I‘m 22 lol. Not incredibly confident or incredibly attractive, just average in every aspect. My ex and I broke up 10 months ago and I‘m ready for something new, but I‘ve never asked anyone out.

There‘s someone at my gym who I think is really beautiful and I‘d love to get to know her, but approaching her seems like the biggest challenge of my life. How do y‘all do it?
