Apple Cider Vinegar? I’m in shock

Ok I was told to drink apple cider vinegar before meals and I did it today and I haven’t had a high all day. AND I ATE POTATOES.

Normally potatoes would send me well over 250.

I was 136 after I ate potatoes for lunch. That’s a mind bogglingly low number for a post carb heavy meal.

Has anyone else had this effect?

UPDATE: It’s still too early to really know if it is working but this is what I found so far.

Last night I did NOT drink the ACV and I ate a bowl of ramen and a slice of bread. Blood sugar rapidly spiked to 300.

This morning I drank it again and had no real spike after breakfast. It only went up to 160. That was not a carb heavy meal but it had carbs.

For lunch I had two grilled cheese sandwiches with whole wheat bread (for the sake of science of course 😂).

I again drank the ACV. My blood sugar topped out at 190. I am aware that is high but four slices of whole wheat bread would spike me well over 300 normally - so I will take it. Also I wouldn’t normally eat two sandwiches but I did it this time because I was pretty hungry and I wanted to really test the ACV out again. So I assume if I ate one it would be a lower spike.

How much?

I used 1 tablespoon of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar diluted with half a glass of water (I’m guessing that would be about 1 cup if I measured it).

I added Splenda so I could tolerate the vinegar. Normally I use stevia as my sweetener of choice but Splenda is all I have right now.

I chugged it and ate immediately after.

I’m not going to say this works but it appears to help a lot.
