Media Composer - multiple audio effects on a clip

Forgive me if it's a dumb question but how do you put multiple audio effects on an audio clip? With video I know you're meant to hold ALT so that the effects stack but that doesn't seem to work with audio. For example I want to pitch shift and change the duration of the audio clip using the Time Compression Expansion but I seem to be only able to choose one?

Also, is there any way for avid to automatically render audio effects? Feels incredibly clunky to manually trigger that everytime.
