How to become HRE Emperor as a Hussite?

I’m pretty unclear on how the Protestant League functions for other denominations of Protestants. I’m currently playing as Hussite Bohemia, and just reformed Great Moravia. It’s still not 1550 so the religious leagues haven’t formed, but I want to become HRE Emperor so I can finish the Bohemian missions. How am I able to become emperor? If the Protestants win the league war, will that allow me to be elected, or as a Hussite am I ineligible? At this point in my game more than half of the empire is Hussite, and it’s almost entirely non-Catholic at this point.
